Wanted: humour writers
If you can tickle a funny bone or two with your wit and sarcasm, do write for us.
JAM is looking for writers to do:
a) MAD style movie spoofs (you do the script, we’ll take care of the cartoons)
b) Satirical articles on current topics. Such as Sunita Williams orbiting the earth without a bath for 6 months… (you get the idea)
c) Original khaak e shayari
d) Braking news
e) Topical PJs
f) Or well… just about anything.
Do not send me random blog links, just one sample of your best work. And what you think you can do next… Email rashmi_b at yahoo.com.

I’d definitely like to get in touch with you, but I haven’t written professionally before.. and neither do I have some stuff presently to show you.. but I do have this strong penchant for writing, if that helps the cause.

I have been told that sometimes my sarcasm is funny. But most of the funny stuff is copyrighted by my kids..
but I wouldnt call myself youth!
more of a 35 year old with a pot belly and a hairline that is receeding or to put a positive spin to it, a shiny front that is proceeding..
you can see what I write at sundar72.blogspot.com

Rashmi,
I have been reading your articles for a long time. I am doing my MBA at one of the top 5 schools in US ( Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth ). I have been writing a blog to help Indian students creating awareness about what an MBA in US is and what it entails. I would like to write about the same in your magazine. Check out the article that I have written at ( This is one of the articles from a series) http://nishkala.blogspot.com/2007/07/differences-in-preparation-overview-of.html
Thanks,
Nishkala

hi!
see if this might fit your bill. It is out n out a totally JLT post, where a blogger hypothesizes a situation if priety zinta breaks into his dorm room and catches him off guard!

I could have spiced it up a more or pruned unnecessary exaggerations but courtesy my er… midsems, I am just passing the link to you
do let me know if it was good!
